Kerala SET 2022 Exam Pattern Overview
Kerala SET Exam Pattern is released by the LBS Centre for Science and Technology in the official notification for Kerala SET Exam (Janaury 2022). Candidates who are applying for the upcoming exam must be well versed with the Kerala SET pattern and the marking scheme of the exam. The clarity helps you create a result-oriented preparation plan.
The Kerala SET 2022 application started on 20 October 2021. For everyone looking for Kerala SET January 2022 exam pattern, below mentioned are all the details.
- SET January 2022 will have two papers. Paper 1 will be common for all applicants.
- Paper 1 has two parts - Part A is General Knowledge and Part B Aptitude in Teaching.
- Paper 2 is based on the post-graduation subject of the candidate. Kerala SET is being held for 36 subjects.
Kerala SET 2022 Exam Pattern
For papers 1 and 2, candidates will be given a time estimate of 120 minutes. The majority of the questions will be objective in nature. In both papers I and II, getting the correct answer will earn you one mark for each question, with the exception of math and statistics, where each correct answer will earn you 1.5 marks for each of the 80 questions offered in the entrance exam. For general candidates, the minimum qualifying mark for both examinations is 40. The qualifying score for OBC/physically challenged/ST/SC is 35.
- The exam will be objective type for both paper 1 and paper 2.
- It will be conducted offline i.e. on OMR sheets.
- There will be no negative marking in the examination.

Kerala SET: Minimum Percentage of Marks Required
The minimum requirement for a pass in the Kerala State Eligibility Test shall be as follows:

Note: OBC and SC/ST candidates will have to submit non-creamy layer/Caste/Community certificates to avail of those exemptions.
Kerala SET Marking Scheme
Aspirants will obtain one mark for each correct answer in both Paper 1 and Paper 2.
- The only exception would be in Paper II's Mathematics and Statistics topics, where each correct answer adds 1.5 marks to an aspirant's overall score.
- In the KSET 2022 exam, there is no negative marking.
